Football poster designed for the football & art magazine SPIEL. The brief was about a piece of Football Myth, and I chose the Austrian Wunderteam of the 1930s. The team was was revolutionary and featured a host of star players such as Josef Bican, Anton Schall, and 'Der Paperienne' Matthias Sindelar – the star player.

Unfortunately the team was plagued by bad luck and Adolf Hitler's intervention of Austria. I included a set of infographics detailing stories, myths, appearances and goals for each player of the Wunderteam.

The design was inspired by the Austrian style of Isotype picture language first known as the Vienna Method of Pictorial Statistics between 1925 and 1934.
